Mangakahia Area School has a stable roll of approximately 180 students, aged between five nd 17 years old.

As an area school, we are at the heart of a dedicated community and we value community involvement.
Students come from as far afield as Tangiteroria in the west, Twin Bridges in the north, Whangarei city, Onerahi and Glenbervie in the east.
There is a diverse socio-economic and ethnic mix at the school.
