Student Leadership is an integral part of the leadership team at Mangakahia Area School.

Supporting the Head Students these are the following groups:

  • Student Council - representatives from every year level commencing Year 5

  • Wellness Team - looking at ways to maintain and improve student hauora 

  • MASSE Team - the kaitiaki of the kura, actively leading environmentally sustainable practice at Mangakahia Area School

  • Sports Council

  • House Captains

Whanau Supporting Whanau - Being there for our kids

We are parents, grandparents and staff who meet monthly to discuss what is going on at school and what we can do to help out. We organise school based community events, help with fundraising and assist at school events.
